AlchemEyes is a large-scale art installation created by House of Fabl for Burning Man 2024 — a 36-foot-tall abstract representation of the human visual cortex, imagined as a sacred monument to perception, symbolism, and the spark of imagination.

At its base, six supergraphic panels radiate outward, each representing an archetypal source of perceptive inspiration: Primal, Human, Ocean, Nature, Sky, and Cosmos. These visual forms act as symbolic inputs — the raw material through which the mind forms meaning.

Rising from the center is a 7,000-pixel LED sculpture that pulses with light and rhythm, mimicking the synaptic flash of neural pathways as they fire across the imagination. The sculpture simulates the very process of seeing — both with the eyes, and beyond them.

Through form, symmetry, and light, AlchemEyes invites participants to soften their gaze and step beyond the mundane — to rediscover the innate curiosity that once transformed a child’s sandbox into a cosmos of potential. It is both altar and antenna, a perceptual portal built for wonder.

AlchemEyes

Burning Man 2024, Black Rock City

Where the eyes become the windows to the cosmos and the synapses ignite with wonder.

Untethering from the default, reach up to touch the infinite.

As the child’s imagination transforms a sandbox into pure potential.

Let us break free from the ordinary and wander down the rabbit hole!

Liberation lies in curiosity; Soften your gaze and delight in a journey beyond the mundane.
